Mental Health Resources

Hub of Hope – Locates your local mental health services as well as provides a direct line to the Samaritans and to the Crisis text line. It is the largest database, collating a huge amount of services together to redirect you to where is best for you. It can be used both as a website and as an App.

The Samaritans – Open 24 hours a day on all days of the year, the Samaritans are there to listen if you need someone to talk to. The number is 116 123.

Shout Text Line – If you prefer to text rather than to speak to someone in your hour of need, Shout is also open 24/7. The number is 85258.

MIND – An online advice, support and resource centre for all things mental health.

Now&Me – An online service where you can anonymously post in your time of need and people will respond to support you.

The Food Medic – Created by Dr Hazel Wallace, the Food Medic website is full of educational and scientific blog posts about fitness, lifestyle and nutrition. It is also a home to many delicious recipes.

Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine – A journal dedicated specifically to the publication of up-to-date sleep science articles.
